Business Manager – Global Network Management recruitment
Group Network Management (GNM) is responsible for UBS (IB and WM) relationships with 3rd party agent banks and market utilities (CSD, CCP) who provide custody, clearing, and settlement services. GNM is responsible for provider strategy, commercial management, delivery of cost savings, market intelligence, and managing our external account population.
The GNM business manager will be responsible for -
• Compliance with the FSA CASS rules (understanding and complying with documentation requirements e.g. no lien agreements, client money agreements with our custodians)
• Management of IB risk process, SOX co-ordination
• Financial analysis and reporting of the 3rd party cost base, including co-ordination with our offshore team in Hyderabad
• Ensuring appropriate allocation of costs to front office
• Project and process management of business management initiatives e.g. build out of cross group reporting, development of unit cost reporting for Front Office, expansion of reporting towards derivatives cost base, driving process consistency and standardisation between the IB and WM Network teams
• Managing proactively the IB nostro and depot account population. Ensuring robust processes in place around account opening, challenging both the existing population of accounts and validating need for new accounts
• Relationship with Cognizant (team of 13 supporting IB activities)
• Co-ordinate business management tasks required by IB Operations (approvals, GNM functional forecast, hiring plans…)
• Support for the GNM GFH based in StamfordRequirements.
