Business Manager recruitment

The business manager role provides support in the COO office to ensure the effective and smooth running of business operations.

Responsibilities

Stakeholder management

Management Information. Preparing and communicating MI Reports to head of business management and the COO. Engaged with COO to prepare agenda and materials for leadership forums.

Strategic suppot. Working closely with central strategy and planning to ensure requirements and feedback of senior stakeholders are feflected in strategic priorities of the division.

Operational management. Responsible for day to day issues, interfacing with senior stakeholders and providing general support across the COO's management schedule. This position will also involve preparing formal briefing notes on meetings and committees attended bu the COO.

Requirements

Whilst this role does not involve direct line management responsibility, the ability to manage and influence a diverse range of key stakeholders is essential.

Experience with Target Operating models and Performance improvement projects is essential

Proven background in a consultative capacity, ideally within the financial services space.

Strong experience in delivering high quality senior management support within the financial services sector.

Demonstrates depth of experience in preparing executive briefs for senior audiences. Experience working across varying functional areas (E.g Front office, Product, Operations)

Ideally the candidate will be educated to graduate level, and this would also suit a candidate that has qualified as an accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
