Job Description Job Classification: Contract Business Systems Reporting Analyst will have overall responsibility for a variety of reporting tasks and analysis. The position sources, compiles and interprets key business financial, operational and statistical data, analyzes metrics performance, and generates a variety of value-added reports for senior-level executives. The Business Systems Reporting Analyst will be the first line of interaction and the owner of the day-to-day activities associated with both periodic and special reporting initiatives of the department. Ultimately, s/he will be responsible for the overall business process, approach, and discipline to management reporting and analysis within Credit/Risk Management. - Ensure the timely and accurate generation of corporate internal reporting, consistency and standardization amongst the various types of reports and databases and manage the various reporting tools utilized by the bank. - Develop efficiencies to increase the effectiveness of reporting and consolidate maintain departmental reports used internally and externally such as to other departments, senior management, and reporting units. - Develop and maintain new standardized metric reporting on a routine basis, i.e., define, create, automate, and maintain operational cyclical reporting. - Manage and own the reporting project management process to identify the needs, document requirements and obtain sign off from owner and coordination for implementation. - Active participation in the development of a data warehouse and subsequent reporting enhancements, including the creation of new reporting templates and analytical reports. - Maintain a reporting schedule and documentation of reporting procedures. Generate and maintain control documentation of reporting procedures to comply with governance audits and regulatory requirements. Will also build audit process to ensure data integrity and efficiency. - Perform ad hoc duties in accordance to business needs. Additional Job Info: Strong analytical and problem solving skills and abilities. Business acumen is presumed. * Expert proficiency with MS Excel and MS Access, strong proficiency with other MS Office applications * Ability to interface with multiple users across the organization and effectively project manage reporting requirements from start to finish. * Intensive focus on user needs in defining user requirements and retrieving accurate information/reporting from data sources. * Attention to details, in particular as it relates to compliance and accuracy of data. * Strong knowledge and comprehension of technology and data management used in the process of collecting, storing and retrieving data. * A good comprehension of the various operating departments of a business organization coupled with a good working knowledge of the interpretation of operational and financial reports. * Ability to work in a rapidly changing and growth oriented environment with regularly changing priorities and developing opportunities * Demonstrate strong communication (both verbal and written), and customer service skills, and exchange information with others clearly and concisely. * Ability to manage own work flow and meet deadlines while responding to frequent demands of multiple customers (internal and external) Top 3 Skills (stack ranked) : Ability To Create reports from Business Objects.
