Business Office Assistant
Landview Therapy Services is currently seeking a Full Time Long Term Care Businnes Office Assistant for our Skilled Nursing Facility located in Cambridge, MA. The beautiful, state-of-the-art facility is seeking an experienced Business Office Assistant/AR Assistant to join their Business Office team. This position is responsible for managing collection to achieve targeting receivables on a monthly basis and to expedite cash flow. Previous experience in Accounts Receivable is strongly preferred, previous experience with Medicare Part A Billing is REQUIRED. Job Functions, Responsibility, Expectations:
· Review remittances for denial and re-bill as required.
· Make collection calls for all payer classes following timely review of accounts receivable aging.
· Interact with various long-term care offices to correct any problems that may occur.
· Work closely with collection agency and /or attorney to ensure timely collection of outstanding accounts.
· Gather appropriate information for the write off of bad debts.
· Assist Business Office Manager in cash deposits and census.
· Assist Business Office Manager in PNA duties.
· Assist Business Office Manager in month-end process.
· Demonstrate satisfactory level of interpersonal skills to interact with the facility staff, administration, residents, families, vendors and government agencies.
· Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the importance of respect for the rights, dignity and individuality of each resident in all interactions.
· Demonstrate honesty and integrity at all times in the care and use of resident and facility property.
· Knowledge of emergency and disaster procedures of the facility.
