Business Operations Manager

The Business Operations Manager (BOM) will be responsible in leading two groups: 1) Innovatoion Center of Excellence(ICE) 2) Engineering and Technology support (ET) As a leader of this team the BOM will be responsible for leading a development team to deliver high quality technology solutions that address business needs by developing applications within both emerging and mature technology environments. For ICE: - The BOM will participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, quality assurance analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline the proposed IT solution. - He/She will participate in design reviews, architectural assessments and provide input to the design recommendations; incorporate security requirements into design; and provide input to information/data flow, and understand and comply with both Project Life Cycle Methodology and approved SDLC standards in all planning steps - He/She will also adhere to IT Control Policies throughout design, development, and testing and incorporate Corporate Architectural Standards into application design specifications - He/She will participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications; identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues; and review and provide feedback to the final user documentation For ET: - The BOM will manage the ET team that develops and executes tests and implements changes for the Customer Support Division (CSD) across four process areas. The four process areas are: the Collections Strategy Development process, the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process and the Recovery Development (RMS) process. - He/She will work with your business partners to strategize, plan, develop, and implement solutions to meet growing business needs - The manager provides oversight and technical assistance to ensure proper testing of changes to be deployed across these processes, ensuring high quality (defect free) delivery of the changes. Changes implemented must meet business requirements, performance criteria and financial goals. - The manager creates processes for handling incoming requests, measuring outputs of the team and develops process improvements. The Manager is responsible at defining and implementing process improvements for his team to improve quality and speed to market. The manager also creates training plans and communication plans for the team. - The manager will assist in writing business requirements and other process documentation The Business Operations Manager is responsible for providing daily employee management, coaching and training for the team.
