Business Operations Manager Job in Oxford, Home Counties Uk

BUSINESS OPERATIONS MANAGER (COVERING DELIVERY, IMPLEMENTATION AND STAFF MANAGEMENT)
HEALTHCARE IT VENDOR - UK WIDE ROLE. NEGOTIABLE PACKAGE ON OFFER.

Our client is a leading provider of IT based solutions to the NHS and wider Healthcare market.

Due to expansion they are looking to implement a new role of Business Operations Manager.

This is a senior level role (sitting on the board and reporting directly to the MD) with a wide portfolio of responsibilities. There is very real potential that this role-holder will form an integral part of the succession planning for the MD position. The areas which will fall under the remit for the role will include, but not be limited to overseeing the following areas:

• Programme management;
• Programme implementation;
• Service delivery;
• Staff management of the technical staff.

The role will effectively follow on from the sales team and be ultimately responsible for the full delivery and management of solutions and implementations. It is essential that applicants are able to show experience in delivery and implementation as well as ongoing client support.

Whilst the role is based very much within the Healthcare IT field, it is not vital that applicants have experience of this sector. It is essential that applicants are able to show experience and knowledge in the following areas:

• Overseeing complex implementations and delivery of projects and programmes from within an IT sector setting;
• Ongoing service management and overseeing large complex projects and programmes.
• Development of staff;
• Managing the entire process from completed sales onwards into delivery and ongoing management;
• Strategic level engagement and understanding of business and ability to plan for the future at a senior level;
• Excellent leadership qualities.

Due to the importance of this position, our clients are negotiable on salary and package and this does represent a fantastic senior level opportunity to join a growing business.

The role is UK wide, with the company headquarted in the South of England. Whilst there is not a requirement to work at the office all week, attendance will be required and there will be travelling throughout the UK and possibly internationally.
