No Security Clearance Required about security clearance definitions Position Description 737 Program has a Business Operations Specialists position opening. This position will: Assist program executives in the development and integration of plans, strategies, processes and supplier architecture to meet business goals for Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) programs. Coordinate commitments with internal and external organizations for large scale complex plans to fulfill the broad level strategies established by executive leadership. Utilize the management system and processes to provide status information on commitments and compliance to plans. Critically analyze information for validity and appropriateness for leadership review and decision. Ensure follow up action for issue resolution. Coordinate with business partners to validate results and determine scope to meet long range business goals and develop business case. Identify risk and opportunity potential. Develop mitigation planning and refine the business case. Provide implementation direction for work authorization. Facilitate the establishment of an overall management system architecture by utilizing the Program Management Best Practices. Develop and maintain visibility system in support of the architecture. Represent executive management to internal and external business interests in areas such as communicating business policy, strategy and direction. Directs and manages very complex project schedules requiring interfacing with multi regional or international activities. Independently identifies project resource requirements, integrate and direct multi project elements into a single collective overall project plan. Collaborates with others on the most complex projects assigned. Ability to direct, delegate and ensure performance of assigned responsibilities and tasks as a project team leader in support of the overall large scale and complex projects. Identifies and resolves any issues and provide solutions and or recommendations to ensure the successful completion of the project. Technical + Boeing Knowledge Basic - Extensive and specialized knowledge of Boeing's organizations, processes, program plans, policies and procedures, and products required to effectively perform functional responsibilities of the occupation. Basic Qualifications For Consideration Do you have a minimum of 7 years project management and/or program management experience? Do you have experience working across functional and business unit organizations? Do you have experience with the Price and Offerability process? Do you have experience with airplane programs, products and processes? Typical Education/Experience Level 4 - Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 8 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Level 5 - Bachelor's degree and typically 15 or more years related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 13 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
