Business Partner from FTSE Telcos Company

An excellent opportunity has arisen to work with a leader in the telecoms industry, sat within their fastest growing part of the business which is currently generating over £5bn of revenue per year, this company is the jewel in the crown of the wider group.

This company has gone from strength to strength, growing both within the UK and Internationally

The need for a finance business partner has arisen for a four to six-month basis, where the successful candidate will be working closely with the Managing Directors from Finance, Human Resources, Learning and Development, Legal, Risk and compliance.

You will lead and present the monthly finance review meetings with the unit and individual leads, be responsible for the delivery of monthly and quarterly financial results to help manage performance of the area against planned/expected outcomes. Drive manage the month end processes within the team – ensuring funding accruals are correctly calculated and aligned, and reported in line with contract accounting assumptions and policy. You will also be responsible for building, modelling and managing the budgets and forecasts across each area of the team, providing clear and insightful reports to demonstrate and explain the operation of the businesses. You will play a fundamental role in the delivery of cost transformation initiatives and ensure governance and compliance within the financials to the contractual commitments and drive cost reduction YoY for the unit. Previous exposure to Hyperion would be advantageous.

This is a high profile opportunity to gain exposure to senior stakeholders across the group, To apply for this role you must be a qualified accountant with experience working in large blue chip complex businesses, you will be team player and have excellent attention to detail coupled with the ability to communicate with stakeholders of all levels. Ideally you will be ACA qualified with strong management accounting experience in a large complex business.
