Our Enterprise Performance Management Consultants provide the expertise to help our clients develop innovative solutions to understanding their most important business need - a robust understanding of what makes money and what loses money.

Our Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) team is the fastest growing team within Finance Transformation, a distinct capability within Capgemini Consulting.   We focus on creating a clear “line of sight” from our clients’ corporate goals to their operational activities, establishing the ability to set the right targets and the alignment of the organisation and individuals to profitable activities. We are able to offer both a business and a technology perspective.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

As part of one of the leading Finance Transformation practices in the UK, you will join a team of experts dedicated to taking the finance function from number crunching to value creation.   From strategy to execution, FT  collaborates with our clients to address comprehensive transformations across core finance processes, corporate shared services, finance function and systems strategy, and enterprise performance management.  Regardless of specialty, you will be encouraged and have the licence to develop new ways of delivering value.

 

Core responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

 

·          Working with our client’s Finance and related teams to analyse, design and roll-out key EPM solutions, processes and systems.

·          Shaping/leading an engagement, ownership of a large work-stream, small-medium projects, day-to-day client relationship management, scoping and leading existing/new business opportunities, account development and sales support.

 

PERSONAL PROFILE:

 

·          You will be a qualified accountant.

·          EPM project experience and knowledge of how all elements of EPM come to life in an organisation.

·          Ideally Consumer Products or Retail specific content, having worked with 3-4 FTSE-100/250 or equivalent-sized organisations in these sectors (but with ability to work across sectors) and having demonstrated career progression.

·          Overview knowledge of relevant technologies in the EPM/CPM space, (e.g. SAP BPC, (i.e. Outlooksoft / Cartesis), SAP BOBJ; Oracle / Hyperion Planning; HFM; SAP PCM / Metify, Acorn, IBM / Cognos)

·          Specific Enterprise  Performance Management experience of having led more than one major full life-cycle project (Feasibility – Design – Implementation, including business engagement and leadership), in the following areas (must have at least two in-depth):

o    Planning, budgeting, forecasting

o    Information strategy

o    Enterprise-wide KPI and reporting framework or management reporting re-engineering (in support of change to Target Operating Model, or ERP replacement)

o    Profitability and cost  analysis and management

 

Other:

·          Demonstration of sales and delivery capability; and ability to lead and develop a team; and ability to accelerate development of an offer into the market.

·          Good presentation skills and experience of delivering to Senior Management/CXO level.

·          Strong general consulting skills and the ability to overcome internal barriers through drive, determination, influencing skills.

·          Ability to empathise with clients in politically challenging environments and to work to demanding timeframes/deadlines.

·          Strong interpersonal skills with high levels of enthusiasm and a good team player.

Whilst you will have London as an office base location, you must be fully flexible in terms of assignment location, as these roles may involve periods of time away from home at short notice.
