Business Performance Manager

Our client is currently recruiting a Business Performance Manager to join and expanding area of their wealth division. You will be responsible for developing and owning the commercial model and business plan, used to shape the division.

This firm is a global leader in financial services and continually growing their operations in Glasgow. It is an exciting opportunity to join and lead a newly developed division within their business and shape their commercial strategy going forward.

Your key responsibility will be to develop the commercial plan for the new division of the wealth management arm of the business. You will shape the business and operational plan making efficiencies and improvements across the division.

The salary is extremely competitive for this senior position within a global financial services leader. The role can be based in London or Glasgow.

The role:

-You will develop and adapt a full commercial model as well as determining the short, medium and long term goals of the business.

-You will work closely with the group finance management team and the firm's stockbrokers to analyse the impact of the division on the business

-You will be responsible for the businesses' financial performance and form an accurate financial business plan producing accurate forecasts.

-You will develop strong internal client relationships and directly report to the head of the investment management division.

You require

-Excellent stakeholder management skills

-Experience building financial models to be used by senior management and being able to communicate where they make a difference to the business.

-Experience analysing non-financial performance indicators as well as financial performance indicators.

-Experience within the financial services market and demonstrable success in a management role

-An excellent track record within strategy and management within financial services or banking

You will need to have a combination of a strong head for figures, excellent stakeholder management skills and strong commercial acumen. You will likely be from an accountancy background or a role that has similar financial responsibility.
