Our client is a US listed global leading financial institution provides broad range of financial services to sizeable Corporate and Insitutional clients over the world. In support of their growing business in Asia they are seeking candidate with high calibre to fill in the following position:
Business Planning Manager (Asia)
Responsibilities:
Business Planning Analysis Support
- Report directly to Vice President, Business Planning (Asia)
- Lead a team to perform financial planning and analysis in support of business and finance management
- Manage and supervise the tean to perform performance analysis, strategic planning, annual budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and monthly reportings with key findings and recommendations for Asia business and various BUs
- Design and develop financial models, metrics and key indicators to measure performance in support of timely prediction of future activity and reporting of key issues to senior management
- Provide analytical support and advice to the development of planning systems, processes and outputs
- Prepare materials and reports for senior management presentations, discussions and reviews
Business Partnering and Relationship Management
- Interaction closely with various lines of business and senior business management
- ct as key person to coordinate analysis results and reaction plans required with various BUs and Global Planning team to support key business decision making and ensure deliverables are met as agreed
- Ensure assigned business goals are clearly communicated on forecasts, results and related process plans/deadlines
- Work closely with other internal teams, e.g. Accounting team HR team, to ensure accuracy of management accounts and headcount/compensation planning is in accordance with latest business plans
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree holder or above with major in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other business discipline, professional accountancy qualifications a plus
- Minimum of 6 years' relevant financial and business planning and analysis experience gained from sizeable multinational company with strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills to support business decision making and proven ability to manage planning and analytical projects
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills with strong written and oral English and Chinese (strong Mandarin an advantage)
- Superior skills with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Prior experience working with senior and overseas business leaders on financial planning and reporting
- Good knowledge of proprietary planning and reporting tools; ability to utilize systems functionality, extract data and manipulate to support reporting and planning processes
- Strong team player able to work independently with sufficient supervising and mentoring experience
