No Security Clearance Required about security clearance definitions Position Description BCA (Boeing Commercial Airplanes) Finance Information Analyst providing technical and business support to create data requirements from business processes. Develops Cognos financial reports and determines ways to exceed current capabilities using newer concepts or technologies (Cognos 10, Predictive Modeling, Dashboards, etc.). Integrate reporting capabilities with other Finance functional systems from Financial Planning, Cost Management, Accounting, and Estimating. Candidate should understand Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing concepts, have experience in Customer Service and Training, have ability to work with multiple functions and management levels, and have strong communication, writing, and presentation skills. Candidate should have a proven record of effective performance in a team environment and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Applies expertise to a wide range of business objectives. Basic Qualifications For Consideration Do you have work experience conducting Information analyses or data forensics? Do you have work experience leading Finance business process changes? Do you have work experience building and using Cognos reports? Typical Education/Experience Level 3 - Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Level 4 - Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 8 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Other Job related information Candidate must have experience with Finance business process changes in order to bridge and conceptualize business processes with technical solutions and communicate in business terms. Prefer candidate have some experience using Data Warehousing / Business Analytics best practices such as data modeling / mining and predictive modeling, creating dashboards and scorecards, and self-service reporting. Should have experience building and using Cognos reports including building Framework Models. Candidate should be able to lead a diverse group of team members that do not directly report to core BCA team. Candidate should have experience influencing and changing Finance business processes, Up to 50% travel maybe needed depending on project.
