Business Planning Manager recruitment

This role requires to support the member of the Senior Management in meeting his mandate and objectives by providing business planning, coordination and project management support

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ OUTPUT EXPECTED

Strategy

Support the Senior Manager in the development and review of business strategies and plans by working in collaboration with business / functional heads, and playing an active role in providing value-added inputs and feedback to the stakeholders

Prepare and update strategies, business plans and presentations, closely track progress and implementation of business critical issues, roll-outs and initiatives

Monitoring Budget Plans and Business Performance

Track key performance indicators (KPI) for each business, track their performance, development and implementation of business critical issues using MIS and data provided by functional and business support

Communication

Draft communication messages for the Senior Manager

Corporate Governance and Risk Management

Keep abreast of governance, compliance and operational developments and adopt a proactive approach in escalating concerns to the Senior Manager when issues arise.

Project Management

Proactively manage the Senior Manager’s sponsored projects by ensuring that all sponsored projects, initiatives, reporting requirements and issues are on track / resolved and deadlines met

Others

Effectively manage the schedule of Senior Manager, also ensuring his preparedness for key meetings by completing groundwork, documentation and research in advance of  the meetings.

Desired Skills Experience

Qualifications

Honours degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance or Banking

Experience

3 to 4 years of general banking experience, with strong preference for Wholesale Banking.

Skills

Strong Numerical Analytical Skills.

Good Interpersonal, Communication Negotiating skills,

Good MS office skills, in particular, Excel and PowerPoint
