Business Process Analyst
This is a fast growing downstream oil gas MNC with global operations across over 30 countries. With Singapore as its Asia Pacific corporate headquarters, it is committed to supplying oil products in the region, including the emerging markets.
Due to increasing demands from the various business units including supply chain, procurement, finance, there is a newly created opportunity for a Business Process Analyst to be responsible for the operational effectiveness of the business units. The Analyst will work closely with the business to identify and maximize opportunities to use Information Technology (‘IT’) to improve the product, service or business processes. The Analyst will then review and create the standard operating procedures, including a detailed documentation of the business systems, workflow program functions and steps required to develop or modify the computer programs. The Analyst will also be a lead project manager and be the functional expert on the applications. The key stakeholders will include the business unit heads as well as the IT Application developers. As the role is Asia Pacific focused, travel of up to 20% in the region is expected.
You are degree qualified from a business or Information Technology discipline with at least 5 years’ experience in business analysis and project management. You will have a successful track record of gathering clear business requirements and the ability to develop, document and maintain operational procedures and policies. Candidates from the oil gas industry, particularly within the downstream business will have distinct advantage. You will also be highly comfortable communicating with senior business heads as well as communicating their business needs to the Information Technology application developers.
