Business Process Analyst recruitment

Department
- Requires a bachelor degree; a Masters is a plus
- Requires 3-6 years of successful experience working in a highly analytical capacity
- Strong attention to detail and excel in a collaborate, team based working environment
- A teaching style approach to working with associates on implementation of process changes.
- Must be a strong self starter and able to be a driving force to execute on initiatives with minimal supervision
- Excellent communicator, articulate and well presented, must be able to communicate with varying levels of seniority within the organization.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously is critical
- Strong MS office skills, particularly in excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities
Role: The Business Analyst, GMO is responsible for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the business, providing a competitive advantage in the market place while enabling improved operational effectiveness through design and implementation of business processes. The Business Analyst, GMO will be expected to be an active participant in projects from both a process and technology perspective and will work closely with his/her peers within the GMO organization, Lines of Business (LOB), Regulatory Compliance, and across Moody's Information Technology (MIT).

Responsibilities:
- Develop business process documentation, workflows, and training documents.
- Conduct new training and ensure adequacy of existing training on new business process changes driven from industry regulation and enhanced internal controls.
- Work with the Global Middle Office (GMO), LOB, Regulatory Compliance, and MIT organization in to define new process and related requirements.
- Recommend enhancements to business processes to improve efficiency, controls, and accuracy of data.
- Actively participate as a member of a team, providing support to team members and fostering a team environment
- Cross-train with others to perform other related business unit tasks as required
- Developing key quality standards, metrics, and related reports to provide transparency around quality of execution
- Ensuring service levels meet the needs of internal customers
- Identifying operational process efficiency opportunities and enhancing related controls
- Liaise with the technology team on maintenance and enhance requests
- Dissect and understand complex problems and develop practical solutions.
- Develop business cases and presentation to build consensus across organizational departments
- Special projects as assigned.
