Posted Position Title: Business Process Development Leader Career Level: Experienced Function Services Function Segment: Project Management Location: United States U.S. State, China or Canada Provinces: Illinois City: Hanover Park Postal Code: 60133-5462 Relocation Assistance No Role Summary/Purpose: The Business Process Development Leader demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy. Essential Responsibilities - Oversee capital spending - Work closely with Engineering to continue Tollgate consolidation and develop simplistic reporting to highlight critical projects - Prioritize critical business data for Project Reviews and enhance MOR Templates - Publish Project Review minutes and action deck - Work with Business Intelligence Team to migrate and digitize scorecards - Coordinate Support Central for SET Team and/or GSO Team - Facilitate the prospect of Inbound elimination - Responsible for new process development - Develop close-loop process to track failures from railroad incident-to-repairpoint -closeout - Develop supplier warranty process and work with Supply Chain to drive improvements - Work to develop a list of Six Sigma projects - Develop training needs / training plans for critical resources within GSO and track completion - Establish GSO's interface / procedure with material return (DMR) process, Supplier Accountability and Issue Track Qualifications/Requirements: - Bachelors Degree from an accredited university or college - At least 5 additional years of experience in project management in the delivery of engineering services within a commercial environment - At least 3 years of experience in a management role ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: - Willingness and ability to travel as required Additional Eligibility Qualifications GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening.
