Business Process Expert, Finance (SAP)

Reporting to a Workstream Lead, this role will provide technical and functional representation performing tasks on time per the project plan and on budget. The Business Process Expert is responsible for the completion of all deliverables in their functional area across a process work stream(s) including the development or validation of process maps and business blueprints, the gap analysis between design and on-boarding countries as well as the regression testing required in the live system. This individual will participate in a team of internal and consulting resources responsible for maintaining the design of the future, standard European process for their work stream -modifying the original design as required. Additionally, they will identify any necessary compromises “in country” and work with the business to ensure the impact of implementation is well understood and accepted by the business. Finally, this role will be responsible for documenting “as is” processes in order to determine the change management required in each market to support implementation.

Business Process Mapping
• Lead for specific areas the “as-is” analysis of existing processes and reporting capabilities in each of the European markets
• Lead for specific areas the design and testing of “to-be” processes and reporting requirements including the identification of best practise as well as requirements from the work stream which need to feed into the Business Intelligence solution
• Develop and maintain all functional documentation associated with work stream processes associated with functional area
• Drive resolution of conflicting requirements between design and the different markets and scope to be implemented
• Manage the translation of business requirements into technical documents and solutions.
• Work with Systems Analysts proto-typing solutions to specific requirements whilst maintaining integrity of the standard model

Change Management
• Ensure that current and future business needs are understood and attainable in the “To Be” process and any gaps are understood. Ensure deliverables are aligned with strategic enterprise objectives.
• Ensure any modifications to the existing design are retrofit to those markets live on the current system.
• Assist HR in the organisational impact assessment and management of the change impact
• Identify, escalate and lead the resolution of change management and cultural issues.

Testing
• Lead for specific areas the development or modification of existing testing scripts to create adequate test plans for unit, functional, system and end user testing
• Manage the test cycles
Prepare the super user for participating in the various test phases, training on the new system functionality as well as required tools.

Training –
• Work with the Training Manager to develop the end user training curriculum
related to the work stream
• Support the Super Users in the localisation of training material
• As required deliver end user training
• Work closely with the country super users to complete knowledge transfer and ensure these users are able to provide front line support to their markets
Provide leadership and functional expertise during implementation and hypercare.

That is why we are looking for an individual with an advanced knowledge of SAP and a bias toward finance. You will have experience of SAP implementations including test execution. You'll have strong project management experience and strong analytical skills.
