Our client is seeking a Business Process Improvement Analyst - Insurance Industry in Jacksonville, FL.
Earn $60 to $70 per hour at this full-time, temporary position. Work 40 hours per week, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
Job Description:
- Conduct formal assessment of selected software out-of-the box business process functionality compared to Business Requirements and Use Cases pre-determined by client company.
- Plan, design content for and facilitate cross-functional project meetings and workshops to develop Future State Business Processes for client company.
- Utilize process mapping software to design multiple iterations of formal business process documentation, as well as secure sign-off and approval from client companys' Stakeholders.
- Perform process modeling and/or simulation activities to validate that Future State Business Processes are aligned to and meeting expectations of client companys' Business Case.
- Perform Business Process Gap Analysis to determine organizational change impact and strategy for transitioning from Current State to Future State. This includes identifying and communicating Organizational Readiness Gaps from a business process perspective.
- Create and execute Implementation Plan for Future State transition activities including:
- Closing Organizational Readiness Gaps
- Prioritization and proper sequencing of business process implementation activities
- Development of Standardized Operating Procedures
- Development of Measurement and Control mechanisms, including alignment with training, quality assurance, and metrics reporting strategies
- Perform Staffing Analysis, including development of transactional staffing recommendation / model based on Future State design and impact to resourcing.
- Provide day-to-day Project Management services across the project life cycle. Note that client company retains overall Management responsibilities.

Requirements:
- 4 year college degree
- 6 or more years of relevant work experience in business process improvement, including process design and re-design, data analytics, and process monitoring and control, as well as the use of process improvement methodologies and tools to eliminate defects and/or waste in products and processes, improve costs, cycle time and customer satisfaction.
- 2 years experience related to insurance operations (business processing, claims, customer service, information technology or underwriting) within an environment promoting a strong process improvement and quality assurance culture.
- Certification in a Process Improvement Methodology, such as Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt), Lean or TQM.
- Certification in a Project Management discipline, such as Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Advanced knowledge of principles, practices, methods, procedures and theories of property and casualty insurance processing.
