Business Process Improvement Analyst Job in Newark 07071, New Jersey US
We are searching for an analyst with emerging expertise in process improvement and ability to succeed in team environments to join our Business Process Improvement team. You will be responsible for conducting data collection and analyses to support a structured approach for process improvement projects across the enterprise focused on reducing cost and complexity. Interacting with divisional subject matter experts, finance and IT, you will recommend solutions addressing productivity, efficiency and demand management opportunities while enhancing customer experience.
Responsibilities include:
- establishing a track record of solid project delivery, superior relationship building, and excellent teamwork
- ownership and management of project work streams
- effectively presenting complex topics to senior audiences
- utilizing research-driven, proven models frameworks to develop and implement process improvements across the enterprise
- managing successful knowledge transfer to ensure proper implementation of deliverables
- identifying and recording process improvement opportunities based upon findings from analyses
- developing and conducting low to moderately complex process related training and communications
- designing and documenting processes using standard techniques
- designing and developing standard reports for metrics reporting and analysis
- analyzing Finance-provided data to determine savings potential
- monitoring performance and improvement in key metrics
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, business or technical discipline and a minimum of 1 to 3 years business process improvement, process redesign, service management or related analytical experience as well as a strong commitment to excellence. An understanding of issues related to process improvements and strong business acumen will be expected. Excellent quantitative/analytical /presentation/interpersonal/communication skills are essential. Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification, healthcare or Fortune 100 experience preferred. Minimal travel is required.
