What You’ll Do

This opportunity offers the amenities of being your own business owner with Sentry’s backing.  To kick start your business Sentry will provide you with a company car (paid business gas), all office equipment, a laptop, Blackberry and the convenience of an at home office environment.  The following are some of the job duties.

 

·          Increase premium volume through the retention of existing accounts and acquirement of new profitable business accounts.

·          Retains profitable business by providing effective quality service to policyholders including total insurance planning consisting of analyzing existing insurance, assessing needs and meeting those needs through the sale of Sentry products with a strong emphasis on cross-selling and account completion.

·          Calls on and pursues all Focus Market leads assigned to the geographic territory.

·          Performs other job-related duties requiring the same general knowledge, skills and degree of responsibility commensurate with assigned level.

 

What it Takes

·          Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience

·          Exceptional sales and relationship skills

·          Related work experience is preferred

·          Ability to multi-task, prioritize, communicate effectively and remain organized

·          Strong analytical and math skills

·          Background in technical insurance (e.g., rates, coverage, etc.) preferred.

·          Ability to meet travel requirements of the job.

·          Ability to learn Sentry Insurance services, products and computer systems

·          Selection to this job requires a valid driver’s license in addition to having and maintaining an exceptional motor vehicle report, when assigned a company car
