Business Project Manager – Financial Markets – Melbourne Aus. recruitment
Two experienced Senior Project Managers are required within a leading Australian Banking business.
The successful candidates will have extensive experience in project delivery within Financial Markets businesses and have a very strong understanding of traded products such as FX and commodities etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with Business and IT Representatives to build appropriate plans to execute the project initiatives
- Engage with the business and technology to ensure all business case requirements are met
- Work with the business to identify and understand the current Risk and Issues to mitigate problems
- Build relationships with key business stakeholders, Technology representatives and vendor partners
- Prepare and deliver steering committee communications
- Apply rigorous Project Management methodologies to initiatives to deliver quality results throughout the life-cycle
Key Skills:
- Demonstrable Delivery of projects in Markets or Investment Banking Environments
- Highly developed communication and presentation skills
- Building of comprehensive project documentation (Scope, plans, management reporting etc)
- Experience with delivery of Front Office or Back Office solutions
- Very strong relationship building capabilities
