Job Description: Identify, establish, and maintain relationships with investment institutions that invest in corporate and structured financed fixed income securities. The investor relationship managers will create and execute a strategy of increasing investor support for Fitch's ratings by having joint meetings with ratings analysts and highlighting Fitch's research, products and services. Investor relationship managers (RMs) will oversee targeted outreach activities highlighting Fitch's analytical offerings via Fitch hosted investor events and industry conferences. Educate investors about Fitch analytical products and research by demonstrating a detailed understanding of Fitch's securities rating process and rating methodologies. Work closely with Structured Finance and Corporate analytical teams to prioritize and execute outreach activities. Liaise frequently with investor RMs and business heads globally to coordinate market interaction and penetration strategies. Maintain knowledge of key competitor offerings and strategies within the capital markets industry and utilize Bloomberg.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Experience Requirement:
Bachelor's degree required; MBA desirable
5-7 years of experience in Capital Markets industry with strong knowledge of fixed income and corporate and/or structured finance securities.
Some Business Development / Relationship Management experience preferred
Role requires detailed understanding of Fitch's rating process and methodologies ideally gained from rating analyst or investment banking experience.
Strong business development and interpersonal skills are a pre-requisite
Superior communication, analytical, organizational and time-management skills
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term relationships
Ability to formulate and execute a strategic plan
Strong attention to detail needed
Knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and Bloomberg desired
Strong analytical background in fixed income securities
