Business Resilience/Continuity Manager
Overview:
A global investment bank is looking for a business resilience/continuity manager to help support the central functions across the diverse areas of the organisation. This includes Business Resiliency; Commissions Management; Conflicts of Interest; and general business support. This is an initial 6-9 months maternity cover.
Job Duties:
· Lead IM Business Resiliency programme in UK/ London; ensure delivery and compliance of corporate policy to the business.
· Maintain oversight and provide support to EMEA IM programme
· Devise and manage resiliency testing coordination; present scope and results to Business and Senior Management alike
· Represent IM Business Resiliency in external relationships with clients and vendors; have the knowledge and gravitas to lead presentations and discussions
· Understand and represent business needs/ interests to work closely with internal partners
· Chair EMEA IM Resiliency steering group; attend global and x-LOB resiliency forums representing IM business
· Numerous other business management duties for the right candidate to include: administration, liaison, reporting and supportive roles.
Essential skills/ competencies required
· Business Resiliency and Crisis Management experience
· Knowledge of the Asset Management industry
· Excellent organisation, coordination and time management skills
· Exceptional attention to detail
· Excellent communication and presentation skills at all levels
· Self driven with a flexible approach to different working environments
· Good people/ Relationship Management experience
· Enjoys working as part of a team, as well as on their own
· Business Resiliency accreditation not essential but advantageous
· People management and staff development experience useful
