We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Business Risk Control Manager
In this role, you will
- Supporting the global market operations business information risk officer (BIRO) and SOX IT Application Controls coordinator
- Operational loss identification
- Risk and Control reviews
- Conduct control reviews (Hong Kong and Asia Pacific)
- Support on-going Control testing
- Answering site queries and preparing Management Information reporting
- You will be required to travel to other Asia Pacific sites for business needs
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements
- Previous experience of audit/operational risk functions in the financial industry is a must
- Experience within global markets/treasury functions would be a distinct advantage
- Proven track record of managing projects and driving initiatives
- Strong people management experience
- Advanced negotiation skills and the ability to achieve results through diplomacy
- Sound understanding of different Global Markets products such as foreign exchange, money markets, derivatives and securities
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Understanding of IT infrastructure would be beneficial
