The Company
Our client, a top ten accountancy practice is currently seeking a Qualified Chartered Accountant for the role of Business Risk Services Senior. Candidates for this role should ideally have experience in internal audit either as part of a professional service firm, or as a risk professional within industry. This role provides strong candidates from an internal or external audit background with the opportunity to become a key part of a rapidly growing area of the business, and offers highly attractive career development and progression opportunities.
The Challenge
Specific duties will involve;
- Reviewing of best practices and making recommendations for improvements
- Undertaking financial reviews
- Assisting in the identification and evaluation of corporate, process, operational
- and project risk
- Work closely with client management, up to and including board-level directors
- Prepare client reports highlighting, business risk, internal audit and internal
- control findings and recommendations
- Play an integral role, in managing client relationships and taking part in new
- business proposals
The Candidate
- Qualified accountant with internal audit background
- 3+ years’ experience in audit (ideally internal audit) either within a professional
- services firm, or as a risk professional in industry
- Good project management and leadership skills, and the ability to deliver
- projects as part of a team
The Compensation
Remuneration will be in line with market rate
