Business Risk Specialist – VP or AVP Hong Kong recruitment
A key client for ConnectedGroup – a leading private bank is looking to continue the development of its wealth management support function with the hire of an AVP or VP wealth product subject matter expert (SME) to join a team focused on Project Managing run-the-bank and change-the-bank initiatives. You be responsible for a diverse range of improvement projects and pinning the differing functions of business and risk support to the front office from HNW to UHNW in Hong Kong and across Asia, including;
- Working closely with the RM’s and sales team to support their activity
- Developing risk and control frameworks in line with business activity
- Enhancing existing banking processes to facilitate compliance with external / internal requirements, especially around Investor Protection rules issued by HKMA
- Supporting identification and development the necessary IT based solutions to automate processes and mitigate risks
- Evaluating and optimising existing processes, implement new processes and systematically track the measures implemented
For your application to be successful you will need to have strong experience and knowledge in;
- Project management and/or change management with focus on front to back banking processes as well as IT implementations
- Knowledge of wealth management products
- Strong communication skills in the interaction with various internal business partners across different seniority levels
- Proven ability to build effective and responsive relationships with a range of different cross functional partners at the working level
