We're looking for people with best practice customer service and sales experience to join our exciting and growing established team in Direct Sales - Business Service Centre. As a Sales Associate, you will be primarily responsible for liaising with Small Business Customers (inbound and outbound) in a call centre environment. You will engage in professional conversations relating to Merchant Products (EFTPOS and web based payment solutions) with the aim of acquiring new cross sale business that will increase revenue and market share with the intention of retaining of these clients.
Providing consistent WARM and HOT leads will see you use your superior influencing ability and perseverance to capitalise on all opportunities during the course of customer contact to increase customer satisfaction and to obtain new business and build long term customers offering tailored solutions to suit their business banking needs.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Outbound sales calling to support campaigns relating to Business Banking.
- Prioritising and actioning of new and existing sales leads. Monitoring and follow up of outstanding leads
- Taking inbound enquires, advising of products and providing quotations
- On - boarding of new client ensuring relevant administrative procedures and compliance are adhered to
- Refer business opportunities that cannot be fulfilled to appropriate area.
- Proactively generates new initiatives and ideas to assist team achieve business growth
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in Telesales/Telemarketing - ideally from a B2B environment
- Previous experience working towards targets/KPI's
- A strong focus on maximising sales opportunities resulting in new business.
- Exceptional Communication, Influencing and Interpersonal skills
- Exceptional written communication ability - emails, applications etc
- The ability to work in a team oriented results driven environment
- Self starter, tenacious, with a strong desire to succeed
- Finance industry experience or interest desirable
You will possess demonstrated sales results including a desire to meet and exceed individual and team key performance objectives, wanting to be a part of a high performance culture.
