Business Services Senior Manager
A leading firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors are seeking a Senior Manager to head up their Business Services department.
Operating from prestigious offices near the city centre, you will head up an expanding business services team that is focused on SME clients under the audit threshold. The purpose of this department is to provide accountancy and advisory services, including the use of Sage and Xero, to growing SME or owner-managed businesses of around £5-6m turnover, helping them grow and develop. This is a heavily client facing role which will see you develop strong client relationships and become a trusted advisor to a broad portfolio of businesses. You will also need to work closely with other internal departments such as audit, tax and corporate finance to generate additional business from your portfolio and to help support your clients effectively as they expand.
As well as excellent communication and business development skills, you will need to hold a relevant accounting qualification and to be able to demonstrate management experience and commercial understanding of the issues facing smaller businesses. This role would suit an experienced Manager from a general practice background looking for a step up, and is in effect a Director Designate position which could see further progression through development of the department inside of 2 years.
