Job Mission
To develop and grow a relationship management service that represents our Customers, champions the Customer needs in a pragmatic way to ensure effective Business Solutions engagement; resulting in the delivery of efficient, effective, predictable and reliable professional services that facilitate the operation of the business.
Principal Job Objectives
- Be the representative of Business Solutions Customers to ensure their views and needs are represented clearly, fairly and appropriately, given appropriate and robust consideration and outcomes are agreed and clearly communicated
- Maintain a cross site presence that enables the development of effective relationships that result in formal cross site networking
- Demonstrate clear focus on the companies business goals and the Corporate Vision so that our joint aims are aligned for success; be a champion of the Business Proposition and the in-house Model in all engagement activities
- Manage shared communications about deliverables and implementation with key stakeholders both internally and externally
- Ensure that change opportunities are fully appraised, effective business cases are developed and benefit realisation understood and delivered whether tangible or intangible
- Deliver a cost management overview across end to end delivery for all Business Solutions change activities that demonstrates appropriate financial management
- Manage the production of forecasts and plans (pipeline) within the business cycle ensuring all activities are balanced and clearly understood by the Business Solutions Management function
- Deliver timely and proactive escalation to all stakeholders
- Provide routinised monthly MI that demonstrates progress; relevant to the recipient.
Distinguishing Characteristics
Knowledge/Experience required at recruitment:
Educated to GSCEstd or equiv-min English and Maths
Minimum of 10 years in an Account Management role
Will have worked within an IT Development environment
Life Pensions background

Understanding the Clients Business and Operating Model and USP
