FCP specializes in helping government agencies address their most complex business transformation challenges by streamlining business processes, modernizing IT infrastructures, promoting accountability and improving operations. Essential Job Functions Grasps key client issues based on fact-gathering activities and develops appropriate analyses and hypotheses (Business). Analyzes business application packages and vendors; analyzes and/or defines business process models and designs high-level structures of solutions (Business). Communicates company vision, organizational structure abilities and services in context of client situations (Business). Understands and applies approaches and techniques related to business area architecture (BAA), information technology strategy (ITS) and enterprise transformation planning (ETP) (Methodology). Leads a team of 3-5 resources (company, client and third-party resources), in area of expertise, to conclusion of a project phase (Management). Maintains current knowledge and understanding of technical industry trends, best practices and market experience with information technology-enabled business capabilities (Technical). Establishes credibility at all levels with clients and builds problem-solving partnerships with clients and colleagues (Relationship Management). Assists sales staff in qualifying leads and generating proposals (Leverage). Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel (Leadership). Communicates in formal presentation settings including proposal orals, client workshops and regional internal events; develops proposal sections, methodology work products and formal written deliverables covering area(s) of expertise (Communication). Qualifications Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred Master's degree in business administration or related field preferred Five or more years of consulting experience with management and/or operations strategy Experience working with CSC Catalyst and/or equivalent client-mandated methodology Experience working with business principles, practices and economics Experience working with common best practices, innovations, trends and challenges in the industry Other Qualifications One to four years of additional relevant experience in one or more business or industry specialty areas Skilled at fact and information gathering, complex analyses and summarization Good communication skills Ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment Ability to devise creative business solutions Ability to convey a strong presence, professional image, and deal confidently with complex business problems Willingness to travel
