Job description
The Business Strategy Sr. Managing Consultant (SMC) uses strategy consulting skills, business knowledge, processes, measurements tools to analyze issues and drive solutions to transform the client's business. The SMC provides team leadership and manages the client relationships in complex environments. Other contributions may include: bid and proposal work, contributions to thought leadership, knowledge management, recruiting, practice community efforts, mentoring, etc.

Specifically, Business Strategists help clients develop value-creating, enterprise-wide or business unit-wide business and market strategies. Taking into account economic, regulatory, environmental and technological drivers that create opportunities and business model disruptions. Business Strategists work with clients to address two fundamental questions: Where should we compete in the marketplace? (e.g. products, markets and channels) How should we compete? (e.g., sources of competitive advantage, business models). Our Business Strategy capabilities are supported by a unique set of methodologies, tools and thought leadership.

Specific service offerings include, among others: Growth Strategy, MA and Business Model Innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage internal client's strategy projects of varying complexity and scope.
* Demonstrate extensive ability to deliver proactive, clear and timely communications; work collaboratively; attention to detail; written, verbal, and listening skills, presentation skills; teaming; knowledge sharing and knowledge management; relationship building.
* Demonstrate an applied knowledge in corporate business strategy and operations strategy, trends, and issues; understanding of the client's issues and deliverables.

MBA/Master's Degree strongly preferred.
