Business Support Analyst
Role:
-Contribute to the development of existing systems.
-Contribute to the development of new systems.
-Work with external system providers to enhance, develop and improve systems.
-Work with all section managers to improve processes and workflow.
-Responsible for System Testing of all enhancements/developments.
-Provide support to the business, and assistance to the Technical Support Team.
Core Skills:
-Good understanding of IT Technologies.
-Sound knowledge of Microsoft Products.
-Experience and knowledge of SSP Pure Broking (formerly Sirius21).
-Good understanding of insurance principles (specifically Motor categories).
The job holder must have the ability to identify issues and plan resolutions. They must have a proactive approach to development and the ability to produce accurate and complete documentation. This role will require the person to be adaptable, flexible and prepared to embrace the company as it continues to develop. This will require the individual to be flexible to working patterns.
This is a multifunctional role, and encompasses elements of IT, but is primarily a business facing position. Reporting lines will be shared across appropriate managers.
Normal Hours of work - 09:00 – 17:30 (1 hour lunch).
Salary -£18000-20000 dependent upon experience
