The Business Support, Strategy and MI Manager role is based within Actuarial and Risk Analytics
The role is to act as operations manager for the Actuarial and Risk Analytics (ARA) team and effective deputy to the Head of Actuarial and Risk Analytics in respect of operational aspects
Responsibility for the preparation of high quality risk management and capacity management information
Responsibility for implementing and maintaining efficient processes that enables effective management of the resource pool
The role holder is responsible for the continuous development and enhancement of MI data feeds and operational processes, techniques and presentation, adjusting as necessary to reflect changing business needs. The role holder is also expected to identify key issues and trends and ensure these are highlighted.
Your responsibilities will include:
Implementing, maintaining and streamlining efficient processes for planning · Ensuring that the MI provided fulfils the reporting requirements of key stakeholders
Implementing, managing and streamlining internal processes and structures that enable the efficient recruitment of and operational management of staff within the team.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
Experience working in relevant environment/s, i.e. Resource planning, Capacity Planning, MI Production
Role relevant qualifications, i.e. minimum 2.1 or above undergraduate degree or similar qualification
Past working experience in a relevant role, i.e. Operational Management, Operations Manager
Experience of using relevant software packages, i.e. Advanced Excel skills
Able to work in a pressurised environment
Experience of successful budget management and use of numerical data to assesses and report on performance and/or identify business issues and opportunities
