Job Background/context:

Our client’s Offshore Funds Services Operations division is a group of approximately 400 staff supporting Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency, Financial Reporting and Programme Management functions across Dublin and Luxembourg.
• The Business Support Planning Manager is responsible for leading a team of analysts and administrators in supporting the business through execution of the following:
• Capacity Management
• Financial Control
• MIS production and Executive Reporting to drive strategic direction
• HR liaison
• Business Strategic Planning
• Administrative Support
• Business related Programmes
Key Responsibilities:
• Communications
o Design and implement a comprehensive business Communications Strategy for Funds.
• Human Resources
o Act as liaison between Senior Management Team and HR Business Partners
• Strategic Planning
o Lead the annual Strategic Planning process, and co-ordinate action planning resulting from this process
• Capacity Management
o Monitoring and reconciliation of headcount movements from pre-approval to hiring, following a structured process to manage capacity
• Financial Control
o Manage the operational budgets for Dublin and Luxembourg ensuring appropriate financial controls are in place including accruals, provisions and New Business funding applications
• Production of Metrics and Executive Reporting
o Co-ordinate production of submissions for a number of Business Review Groups.
• Legal Compliance
o Compilation of ICSAs and PLSDs ensuring appropriate filing

Qualifications

VOE
• Manage VOE process annually, promoting participation, linking development needs arising from the survey to the Strategic Planning process.
People Management
• Line Management responsibility for 5 staff and 2 matrix reports across both Dublin Luxembourg (5 Business Analysts and 2 Executive Assistants).
Knowledge/Experience:
• As described above the successful individual will be a dedicated, energetic professional with the capability to rapidly acquire relevant business knowledge; strong communications skills; sound judgment; and attention to detail
• Understanding of Funds Services Operations functions and programmes would be an advantage or demonstrable experience in a similar position is essential
• Experience working within a Human Resources function desirable
• Proven track record in identification of opportunities to implement process improvements, service or technology enhancements
