Business System Analyst Job in Syracuse 13069, New York US
Seeking a Business System Analyst to work within a growing manufacturing environment. Responsible for the following:
• Provide leadership, project management and ongoing support of existing specified business systems including troubleshooting, vendor liaison, user liaison and continuous improvement.
• Provide leadership, project management and ongoing support of development of new/replacement business systems.
• Work with corporate IT assets to ensure the systems being supported are providing required functionality
• Work with software vendors to provide and improve support and service to active systems
• Work with plant automation resources to provide and maintain seamless and accurate data handling and reporting.
• Work with end users, providers and corporate to provide transparent services from the systems being supported
• Drive future development looking for systems offering step change opportunities.
Required Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, 5 + years of experience
• Project management experience inclusive of the development and ongoing management of timelines, budgets and resource management
• Database design and administration, software vendor management, Oracle and SQL Database Server platforms
• Familiarity with SAP functionality and implementation methods
• Business Intelligence and Web Based Reporting
• Data Quality Management • ETL Tools and Techniques
• Data Warehouse / Data Mart design methods and structures
Preferred Skills / Experience:
• Microsoft .NET development environment, ASP.NET, OLAP, Manufacturing experience preferred
Annual salary is DOE. Average range of $60,000 - $85,000. Excellent benefits.
