Job Description
As a Business Systems Administrator your role will be to maintain, administer and support their internal business systems and applications. This position would suit someone coming from a similar industry background supporting the business applications.
You will;
- Accounting and business process experience
- Experience within a Professional Services, Accountancy practice is ideal supporting business applications such as APS
- 5+ years experience in similar role
- Perform database maintenance and development when required
- When needed attend board meeting and act as the face of IT
- Liaise and maintain strong relationships with Third Parties/Vendors to provide technical assistance. Escalate issues to relevant Vendors
- Work as a team player to help the group achieve targets
- Contribute to the business, preparation of reports and business cases
- Assist in developing both long and short term strategies to business systems from upgrades to changes
- Carry out bulk modification when required
The Successful Applicant
The successful applicant for this position ideally would have been in a similar function familiar with the not only the technical demands but also the culture of a professional services industry.
To be considered for this position you will have experience in;
- SQL Server maintenance
- Supporting for various Business Systems (APS, RETAIN, Chris 21, iManage Worksite)
- Windows Server 2008 R2
- MS SQL 2005/08
- Windows 7
- MS SharePoint
You will also have worked with vendors and third parties cohesively to ensure maximum overall level of service is provided to the business
