Business Systems Analyst – Banking Settlements recruitment

A leading Investment Bank is seeking a Business/System Analyst to join their Project Management department t mainly working for Settlement Business related Project such as SEPA (Single Euro Payment Area) Credit Transfer Direct Debit, TRAGET2, SWIFT (FIN/FileAct) and CMS (Cash management System).

The Business / Systems Analyst will be required to:
* Gather functional and non-functional business requirements from users and clarify what needs to be delivered as part of the systems development planning.
* Analyse existing systems and perform gap analysis based on requirements.
* Produce the conceptual design, a high-level solution design which captures all requirements.
* Further elaborate on requirements analysis and design, producing an External Design which enables users to confirm the functionality, architects to review and developers to further design and develop.
* Contribute to the planning, execution and verification of V-model-style Component Testing, Integration Testing (IT) and System Testing (ST). Also support users to plan and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
* Report the project progress to the Project Manager and the other to Business Analysis team leader

The Successful Business Analyst will be ideally be ISEB or IIBA certified. Have strong experience of waterfall system project management experiences working for Financial institutions for banking and settlement systems related projects. Experience in delivering a business critical package software integration project.
Strong business analysis skills for both functional and non-functional requirements. Good understanding of SEPA scheme and message formats.
