Business Systems Analyst , ( Eprocurement , ARIBA , SAP ) , English , Contract , Basel , Switzerland recruitment
In this role your main tasks and responsibilities will mainly include:
- Provides input and supports Roadmap Development and Portfolio Management, including maintenance of budgets/forecasts/resource planning in the respective tools
- Creates the business case including high level solution options and resource estimates covering the “Solution Creation” liaising with stakeholders on business- and IT side
- During “Project Initiation” he/she establishes the project charter and mandatory supporting documents together with the Informatics Project Manager (IPM)
- Ensures project delivery by the IPM meets the customer’s need
- Supports the operational delivery and the service support as needed
- Drives harmonization of business processes across sites and departments by propagating best practices, common standardized data models, applications and technologies that are in line with the cross-functional or functional Informatics strategies and architectures
- Drives for reuse of standard software and existing solutions, exploits synergies and ensures best practice sharing for the projects of her/his responsibility across Informatics
- Develops business/technical critical know-how within area of expertise for the function and is familiar with opinion leaders in the field.
- Acts as Consultant to the individual stakeholders on business- and IT-side (Team Heads, Project Managers, Business Process Owners etc)
To be considered for this role you must have the following skills:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in multiple areas of business domain and technology
- Proficient knowledge of application landscape
- Experience in e-procurement processes for being able to understand business requirements and priorities
- Several years of proven Project Management experience on a regional/global scale and across several functions
- Strong architectural skills
- Strong systems and requirements analysis and technical skills
- Customer and Service Management focus, combined with a strong sense of urgency
- Virtual team management experience
- Multicultural and International experience and scope
- Willingness to travel up to 25 %
- Apart from English, additional languages (German, Spanish) will be an advantage
- Experience in the pharmaceutical area as well as experience with ARIBA and/or SAP are highly advantageous
