Personal Markets Financial Systems (PMFS) is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our growing team! This group operates the Personal Markets Billing System, processing almost $7 billion in premium payments annually, supporting several thousand users, and billing over 5.6 million policies.
This role is responsible for managing new data warehousing projects as well developing new MicroStrategy reports from our Enterprise Data Warehouse. The individual will help improve business processes, provide critical information to support decisions that contribute to profitable growth, and help guide our future strategy.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical and business leadership for the upcoming addition of the Finance subject area to our Enterprise Data Warehouse
- Manage and execute on Finance data warehousing project initiatives
- Review existing reporting capabilities and identify improvement opportunities through development with the new BI Tool
- Partner with subject matter experts to identify and document end-to-end data and reporting requirements (data, format, and aesthetics)
- Develop operational reports and dashboards using BI Tool as well as usage and adoption dashboards
- Partner with IT to ensure seamless integration of reports into the BI environment
- Develop and execute test strategies, plans, case, and conditions
- Develop and execute training / communication plan and related activities
- Prepare user documents and training materials
- Maintain ongoing knowledge of BI Tool environment
- Analyze and implement best BI reporting practices
- Influence priorities based on business needs and values
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in business or technical discipline
- 3-5 years related experience in report development (MicroStrategy, Cognos, Business Objects)
- 2+ years managing projects of medium to high complexity
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
- Strong SQL skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Must be a team player as well as individual contributor
- Solid knowledge of business operations, objectives, and strategies as well as business process and information flow.
- Solid knowledge of project management lifecycle
