We are seeking a Business Analyst position in our Los Angeles, California office. Job Description: The ERP Operations and Application Administration group oversees the operational scheduling system that executes automated finance and accounting processes across the Oracle ERP and Analytics systems. This team works with the ERP Support Analyst Teams to design, schedule and monitor the system processes needed to facilitate Project Accounting and Finance back-office daily, weekly and month-end operations and reporting. Secondarily, this team also oversees the application change process. The goal of the application Change Process is to add value by reviewing the quality of any change and ensuring that changes to Enterprise applications are compliant with established controls. This team works in conjunction with other IT groups to ensure that all changes are properly tracked and approved before they get committed in the Production environments. This team also performs Production migrations and changes for all application-related configurations and changes that do not require DBA involvement. The successful candidate will have a positive, professional attitude and will be able to work as a team player with Infrastructure staff and business analysts. The nature of the work will require that the candidate demonstrate initiative, responsibility, and flexibility. Excellent technical ability with Oracle eBusiness Suite and UC4 AppWorx experience is desired. Job Responsibilities: - Responsible for executing and monitoring weekly/monthly closing and reporting process. - Complete configuration changes to the production system - Serve as the business analyst for various compliance and control systems - Coordinate, monitor, communicate and manage Oracle other system maintenance/outage activities. - Responsible for continuous process improvement by fine-tuning procedures pertaining to change processes, process execution and communications - Utilize scheduling software, AppWorx, for all regularly scheduled processes. - Continuously seek for new opportunities to utilize AppWorx and manage any AppWorx development efforts. - Responsible for the IT Change Process, ensuring all aspects of Oracle E-Business Suite and other Enterprise systems are Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and audit compliant. - Monitor and manage IT related service and problem tickets to ensure quality customer service Job Requirements: - 2 or more years of experience as a System or Business Analyst - Knowledge of financial operations. - Experience with financial reporting tools. - Excellent communication and writing skills; attention to detail. - Ability to multi-task and demonstrate a sense of urgency. - Ability to adapt to new environments quickly. - Strong analytical skills and high focus on accuracy and follow through. - Troubleshooting skills, experienced in end user support. - Works with minimal supervision and performs well a variety of tasks under pressure. - Skilled with Oracle E-Business Suite and UC4 AppWorx. - Familiar with internal, external financial and SOX audit compliance processes and procedures. - Experience with application development methodology and application administration.
