Job Description We are seeking an Oracle HRMS Business Analyst in our Los Angeles, California office. Job Summary This position is responsible for assisting with the rollout and support of Oracle 11.5.10 eBusiness Suite with multi-org enabled. The position includes but not limited the following duties: - Analyzes, plans, implements, and executes business-specific processes using Oracle applications and related software tools - Serves as functional systems expert for the following Oracle modules: HR, Payroll, and Time and Labor - Interface with other IT personnel to design, test, and implement solutions to support the implementation and the Production system. Responsibilities - Assist with the implementation of Oracle HR, Payroll, and OTL for AECOM international operations, including: - Conduct needs analysis meeting with international operations - Translate operations requirements into HR / Payroll / OTL design - Create design documentation - Complete process improvement analysis and recommendations - Design and conduct thorough, disciplined testing of applications - Prepare functional specifications for new reports and interfaces - Complete required system configuration - Forms design - User Training - Report development - Testing - Work with users to build realistic, focused test scenarios - Assist with the planning and coordination of test cycles - Prepare all required setup, test data, and source documents - Monitor or conduct tests - Review, analyze, and document results - General System Support: - Provide application assistance to IT and geography stakeholder teams upon request - Evaluate patch and upgrade documentation for needed functionality - Plan and conduct regression testing - Communicate "Break/Fix" changes to users - Track and expedite Oracle Service Requests (SR) - Payroll support: - Research statutory and regulatory payroll requirements - Assist with the implementation of best practices international payroll processes - Help identify and develop required reconciliation and audit reports and processes - Plan weekly, monthly, and year end payroll schedules - Assist with development of user aids, training guides, forms, and reports - Future Oracle areas for growth: - Stay apprised of ongoing Oracle applications development and direction - Develop understanding of other organizations global Oracle HR / Payroll / OTL practices and design - Participate in global Oracle user groups - Prepare and conduct international training programs - Maintain current design documentation, user guides, and training materials - Work with users and IT on security: responsibilities, request sets, and system access Experience - 3 or more years experience implementing or supporting Oracle HR, Payroll, and OTL applications with focus on time collection, Payroll and labor costing and distribution for billing requirements - Experienced with the needs analysis and design phases of Oracle implementation for HR and Payroll - Systems testing experience in the following areas: § designing test scenarios for different testing cycles (Unit Test, User Acceptance Test, Regression Test, etc.) § planning, scheduling, and leading user test groups § create scenarios using test data § configuration tracking § logging, expediting, and tracking Oracle Service Request (SR) § documentation of results § formal communication of changes to user groups - Good verbal and written communication skills, with experience in communicating to international teams, user groups, and senior management - A good understanding of project costing and general accounting principals - Must demonstrate strong teamwork skills Skills - Oracle HR, Payroll, and OTL applications - Strong project planning and management skills - Proficiency in Microsoft productivity tools (Word, Excel, Project, etc.) - Oracle AIM documentation and general software development life cycle - SQL a plus - Report writing software - Discoverer, Cognos, etc. Education - Bachelors degree, University level preferred This position could require some degree of domestic and international travel.
