Description:
Ocean Spray Cranberries, Inc. is currently looking to for a Business Systems Analyst to join our Information Technology team in Lakeville, MA.
Position Summary:
This role is the primary contact for providing systems support and training for OSC business users and our broker network for all in-house developed and packaged software including SAP, Manugistics, etc. Assists with maintenance, design, development, testing and implementation of the all in-house applications and packaged software. Subject matter expert on content, business processes and procedures associated with assigned applications. Applies functional knowledge to the design, customization, configuration, and support of applications. Writes functional requirements, develops and executes test plans, and works with production issues.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Acts as primary contact for support and analysis
2. Performs maintenance of application configuration security tables
3. Performs daily System Interface reconciliations and various data integrity verifications
4. Responsible for all aspects of application training for end-users, such as the development of training material, scheduling and instructing training sessions
5. Assists in the development, testing, and deployment of system upgrades
6. Advises Systems Analysts and is involved in business analysis and application decision
Minimum Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements:
Bachelors Degree is required, 5-7 years experience
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service
Requires experience with and understanding of assigned business processes and systems capabilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, Excel, Word, Visio
Experience with Microsoft SQLServer – SQL query language
Experience with Crystal Reports 8.5
Understanding of current trends and emerging issues within assigned business processes as well as new developments by related vendors; ability to adapt these elements to assist in developing improvement strategies.
Ability to identify and clarify cross-functional integration issues and opportunities.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams responsible for resolving complex business and process issues.
Understanding of project management principles and techniques.
Ability to prioritize and support multiple user projects.
Ability to manage relationships with other teams, functional leadership, third parties, and users..
Experience implementing both technical system changes, including configuration and the non-technical aspects: training, business rationale, management systems, ongoing support, and integration with other functions.
Understanding of training principles.
Understanding of business process re-engineering in a manufacturing and/or consumer product environment.
