As a Business System Analyst Senior, you will be  responsible for performing programming function in conjunction with research and analysis for Business Analyst in support of the marketing campaign execution.
 
·   Primary responsibility includes performing data processing for the execution of the complex marketing campaigns.
·   Develop code based on technical specifications to extract and process targeted account data.
·   Validate and test all code for accuracy and efficiency. 

·   Assist in development of the specification by recommending alternative solutions to technical problems.
·   Provide programming support of ad-hoc requests and special projects as assigned.
·   Project interactions with business analysts and/or marketer are required to communicate and clarify the results.    
·   Experience in data manipulations including the usage of basic standard SAS procedures such as Proc Freq, Proc Format, Proc Sort, Proc  SQL, and Proc Summary as well as traditional SAS data step programming in Unix Environment.
·   Experience in bringing large data (i.e. millions of records) from SAS and non-SAS (Teradata or Oracle or DB2 database) data sources into a SAS environment and performing SAS data manipulations against the resulting sets. This includes ability to merge datasets and to write SAS Macros and generate list outputs/reports.
·   Experience in transforming the resulting SAS datasets into specific text file formats and subsequently being able to manipulate the resulting text files with UNIX commands to include standard headers and trailers.
·   Contribute to continuous improvement and develop self competencies. Facilitate and works towards consistent improvement in Business-As-Usual reports as well as functional projects.

Education:
    B.S. or higher degree in relevant technical fields (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics etc)
  
Technical Experience
 ·   3 to 5 years significant experience in using Base SAS and SQL in Unix environment along working knowledge of Oracle/Teradata database along with Microsoft Office applications.
·   Excellent analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively with strong analytical and problem solving skills demonstrated by previous work experiences.  
·   A background in marketing operation, direct marketing or data analysis in banking or financial institution environment is preferred.
