The Business Tech Analyst II will support the Credit Card Recovery business with the following activities: - Contribute to daily execution of critical run the engine (RTE) processes using primarily the Recovery Management System (RMS) and information from the main card processor, card data warehouse, and other database systems. Processes include but are not limited to: Asset Sales execution, Placements execution, validation of input/output files, identification and remediation of system rejects, creation of reports for operations, reporting, process controls execution, etc. - Provide user and business processes support by maintaining tables, security levels, system files, system configuration, and workflows owned by RMS Administration Team. - Participate on project teams as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on processes owned or executed by the RMS Administration Team or as a Core team project member. In this capacity, the analyst is expected to work closely with business partners to gather, document, and review business requirements. Then through analysis and design translate business needs into solid and effective system and workflow solutions by making recommendations, documenting functional specifications, and coding/unit testing agreed upon changes while supporting a 100% traceable end to end process. Additionally supporting peers within the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) team to independently validate the changes and ultimately executing a successful implementation of the changes to production environment. - Analyze data in an expeditious and meticulous manner to troubleshoot production issues related to Recovery business processes (the data could be part of tables, system files, and processes owned by the RMS Application Administration Team). Based on the analysis, the analyst will be expected to identify root cause, make recommendations, document and implement system/workflow changes to support short term and long-term resolution as well as remediation if needed. - Participate, and at times facilitate, weekly Application Administration scoping and timeline meetings. Lead certain Recovery processes, including documenting processes, communicating changes, and providing monthly performance metrics to management on all work performed by RMS Application Administration Team. - Coach and provide feedback to our business partners on Recovery Processes and Procedures. Analyze internal Recovery processes and seek to continuously improve efficiency, accuracy and speed-to-market. Analyze internal Recovery processes and identify where controls are needed and design appropriate controls to yield a higher quality product. Analyze, evaluate, and validate table and engine modification requests to determine the effectiveness and feasibility of requested change(s). Log, update, test, and implement table and system changes supported by the RMS Application Administration Team.
