The Business Tech Analyst is responsible for in-depth support of the financial and project details for the internal development IT organization aligned to Consulting. This person will track and execute specific Project and financial processes for the group, including but not limited to working with managers to determine monthly forecasting and other requests as needed. The Business Tech Analyst will also aid in generating internally-driven metrics to provide leadership with the essential data needed to execute in their roles
Responsibilities:
- Work with managers in the organization to determine the monthly project forecast for the group.
- Review project details/results and investigate variances to plan.
- Develop and deliver regular project reporting and presentation materials which are shared with managers and leaders in the group.
- Provide support to leadership to guide project processes through to completion.
- Execute numerous administrative functions relating to projects, finance and metrics to meet groups needs.
- Mine data from multiple sources to provide relevant information back to leadership.
- Generate project, financial and metric reports for leadership.
- Flexibility to adapt and respond to dynamic business needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, a foundation in project finance, ability to collaborate with team members at various levels, and initiative to complete tasks with minimal oversight.
- 3-5 years of business/finance experience.
- Bachelors degree required.
- Must have strong PC skills in Microsoft Office and Windows, particularly with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with financial systems preferred.
- Strong organization, analytical and communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Collaborative teamwork and personal initiative.
- Demonstrated ability to: Deliver high quality, accurate analysis within tight deadlines and limited oversight; Filter through large amounts of data to find the most relevant pieces and still understand the big picture: Excel in problem solving and decision making, including situations with ambiguous or incomplete data; Balance priorities and workload to manage multiple projects
