Are you an experienced Internal Auditor with experience of providing technology and IT Audit to clients? My client, a highly regarded firm of Chartered Accountants based in Glasgow are looking for an experienced candidate to join them on a permanent basis.
The work would be for a wide range of clients within the public sector (NHS Boards, Local Authorities and NDPBs), financial services, not-for-profit and commercial sectors and would involve both in-house and outsourced providers of technology. You will deliver IT assurance work with minimal supervision as part of a team or individually, deliver high quality, risk-based IT audit work including detailed audit planning and testing up to draft report stage for management review.
You will have the ability to successfully work to deadlines across multiple pieces of work, hold strong attention to detail in all aspects of work, have excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) and a professional manner in all dealings with clients and colleagues. An understanding of business systems including non-financial systems, an appreciation for technology and strong understanding of technology within the business environment and a good technical background (Windows, Unix, Oracle etc.) are also desirable.
You will also hold a relevant qualification within Internal Audit, IT Audit or accountancy qualifications (CIIA, QICA, CA, ACCA, CIMA, CISA etc.) and a full clean driving license is essential.
