Business Technology Manager – Wealth Management recruitment

The Wealth Management market leader in Saudi Arabia requires a Business Technology Manager with a proven wealth management background for a permanent position in Jeddah. You will effectively sit between the Business and IT departments as you develop and deliver robust, best in class, solutions. It is essential that you are an SME in Wealth Management and provide effective operational support to the business.

Required Skills:

* A seasoned IT professional with 5+ years in-depth experience as a 'Subject Matter Experts' within Financial Services (Investment).
* Ability to work consistently when gathering information and seeking solutions to problems
* Application of a systematic and logical approach in order to get things right
* Calm and controlled even under the most trying circumstances
* Ability to gain the enthusiastic commitment of others
* Excellent understanding of relational database design
* Strong understanding of software development, including usability and information architecture
* Strong client-facing skills
* Demonstrable record in designing and recommending solutions that deliver business goals.
* Key traits: patience, persistence, consistency and reliability
* Demonstrable evidence of analysing and documenting complex business processes.
* Demonstrable experience writing requirements specifications for Information Systems.
* A proven track record in Software Development
* End to end experience of the project lifecycle
* Proven experience interacting directly with end users.

* Corfax - Investment Fund System
* Progress - Unix Database
* Norkom - Anti Money Laundering
* Oracle / MSQL

Specific Business Knowledge

* Investment Fund Operations
* Client Data Management
* Investment Fund Transactional Flows (Subscriptions, Redemptions, Switches)
* Unit Trust Administration
* Regular Investment / Savings Payment Schemes
* Group Saving Payment Schemes
* Unit Pricing
* Client Registry / Transfer Agency
* Fund Accounting
* Anti-Money Laundering Regulation and Operation

In addition the candidate must have:

* Good documentation skills.
* Good communication skills with different internal customers and vendors.
* Organising, Administrative and Interpersonal skills.
* Working experience in a Financial Services / Investment environment with knowledge of Banking Products also being an advantage.
* Proficient in English both spoken and written (Arabic is a bonus but not a necessity)
