Job Description
Business Unit Finance Manager - Project Controller
This highly interactive position will work as a SME with business area CFOs and Managers, project managers, finance teams across the company, etc. in order to provide financial support-budgeting for initiatives, programs, and projects. The scope will cover the full cycle of project financing to include budgeting, tracking, reporting, forecasting, capitalization, analyzing and recommendations related to spend and project governance.
Will interact with members from EPMO, business project offices, Enterprise Integration, Clarity, Comsys, Finance, and other BFO teams to ensure continuity to project tracking and reporting.
Will require close partnerships to assigned support areas to ensure accurate project data is represented and provide recommendations to those teams as needed throughout the year (such as change requests, project adds, budget cuts, etc.).
Qualifications
- Highly experienced in project finance
- Understanding capitalization of project costs
- Experienced in project life-cycle
- Must be able to work independently across organizational lines, forming strong partnerships with various levels of management and staff
- Experienced with Corp financial systems in order to optimize reporting (like: essbase, Hyperion, OLS, GLD, Smartview, Comsys, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to draw conclusions and make clear concise recommendations to your partners.
- High skill in Excel
- Bachelors Degree required
- 8 years experience in project finance required
- Certifications (CPA or CFA) preferred
