Business Unit Financial Controller recruitment
This role is as much a finance role as a relationship role, where you will be expected to build relationships across Product Control and Operations.
Duties include:
- Analysis of metrics for accounts and reporting to finance management
- Control over BS PnL adjustments
- Build strong relationships with Product Control and Operations
- Generating appropriate Management Information Systems (MIS) for senior management
- Coordinating meetings with Product Control and Operations
- Large involvement in ongoing process and controls improvements
- Providing a central escalation point for queries
This role is an exciting mix of run the bank and change the bank projects where you will have full ownership. Hence the need to be a good communicator and have strong relevant knowledge to bring to the role.
It is essential the successful candidate is a qualified accountant with good Financial Control and Accounting experience ideally from a Financial Services background. You must have excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business.
