Business/Process Analyst

Job Title:  Business/Process Analyst
Rate: £180 per day
Contract Length: 6 months
Location: Edinburgh

Hays are currently recruiting for a Business/Process Analyst to join an exciting new project for an initial 6 month contract within a large Financial Services organisation.

Work in a project environment in the Operations Testing workstream. The objective of the workstream is to stand up the Banking Operations and ensure the Operations are fully functional and in line with requirements

As part of the Process workstream you will document process flows in line with the Business Operating Model, detailing where hand in / hand offs need to happen. You will create transitional business processes where required to ensure the Banking Operations are fully functional.

You will be reporting to the Senior Business Analyst.

The successful candidate will have experience in process documentation.
Business knowledge in Lending, Service Support or Complaints is preferred.
Experience within a Financial Services organisation is essential

You will:

· Identify and document process flows that satisfy the Business Operating Model.
· Identify and document hand in / hand offs where required within business processes.
· Produce transitional business processes to ensure smooth delivery of the changes prior to, during and after the segregation and separation of the project to different areas
· Identify risks, issues and dependencies impacting upon the programme to ensure they are effectively monitored and mitigated, escalating through Project Manager and Governance where necessary.
· Communicate/interact with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Business SME’s and Technical Colleagues across the wider Programme

Key Technical Competencies required:
